Step 3: Pilot Selection — Starting Small, Thinking Big

In large enterprise transformation projects, this "Goldilocks" scoping consistently determines whether a pilot generates momentum or quietly gets shelved.

The pattern: A tight, well-scoped pilot builds credibility for bigger investments — far better than a moonshot that delays visible results by 12+ months.

Pilot success creates organizational appetite for deeper AI investment. That's the real output to aim for.

Step 4: Build & Test — The MVP Mindset

Enterprise AI projects fail when they try to solve everything at once. I build AI solutions like software products: minimum viable product first, then iterate based on real usage.
